1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how TickTrack ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information under the Privacy Act 2020 when you visit our website and join our waitlist.

We are currently in a pre-launch stage and do not provide a full product or user accounts.

TickTrack is a trading name. You can contact our privacy officer at the email address in section 12.

2. Information We Collect

When you sign up to our waitlist, we collect:

• Email address
• Name (required during email verification)
• Referral code (if you signed up via a friend's link)
• Survey responses (if you choose to complete the optional profile survey)

We also automatically collect limited usage data through analytics tools such as Microsoft Clarity, including:

• Clicks and navigation behaviour
• Scroll activity
• Device type, browser, and approximate location (non-precise)

3. Public Leaderboard

If you confirm your email, your first name and referral count may appear on our public leaderboard. This is visible to other website visitors. You can request removal by contacting us (see section 12).

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Manage and operate the waitlist
• Verify your signup
• Send waitlist and launch-related updates
• Notify referrers when someone signs up using their link (first name only)
• Display your first name and referral count on the public leaderboard
• Improve website performance and user experience
• Understand general usage trends via analytics tools

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following services to operate the waitlist. They process personal information on our behalf:

Supabase (Singapore)

Waitlist data — including email, name, referral codes, and survey responses — is stored in a Supabase-managed PostgreSQL database hosted in Singapore.

Resend (United States)

We use Resend to send confirmation, welcome, and referral notification emails. Resend processes your email address and name for delivery.

Microsoft Clarity (United States)

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how users interact with our website. Clarity records anonymised interaction data such as clicks, scrolling, and page navigation. Microsoft processes this data under its own privacy policy.

Firebase Hosting (United States)

Our website is hosted on Google Firebase. Firebase may log IP addresses and serve cached content through its global CDN.

6. Overseas Disclosure

Your personal information may be stored or processed outside New Zealand by the providers listed in section 5:

• Supabase — Singapore
• Resend — United States
• Microsoft Clarity — United States
• Firebase Hosting — United States

We believe these providers are subject to privacy laws that provide comparable safeguards to New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020.

7. Email Communication

If you sign up to our waitlist, we may email you regarding:

• Verification of your signup
• Waitlist updates
• Product launch notifications
• Referral activity (if someone signs up using your link)

We will not send marketing emails unless you explicitly choose to receive them. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe by contacting us directly (see section 12).

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to operate the waitlist and provide updates about TickTrack.

9. Your Rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to:

• Ask us for confirmation of whether we hold personal information about you
• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of your information
• Request deletion of your information

We will respond as soon as reasonably practicable. To make a request, contact us at the email in section 12.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can make a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at www.privacy.org.nz.

10. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, or unauthorised access.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
